It's been a long couple of months but I can FINALLY say the hardcovers have landed, cleared customs, and are on their way to the US warehouse. Which means its time to double check your address if you have moved in the last few months because the staff at APlus will soon be making up lots of parcels!
You can check your address by logging into BackerKit.
Books to New Zealand, Australia and Singapore shipped two week ago. You should have received your tracking information by email and hopefully your hardcopy is already in your hands 😊

Kia Ora,
I have FINALLY got some exciting news! The books have passed quality control in China, have been carefully packaged, and loaded onto a ship. Their sea voyage has now begun. A small parcel is winging its way to me in New Zealand, and I'll be sending out orders to NZ, Australia, and Singapore. The rest of the world is being dispatched from a warehouse in the US, once they make land.
I'm so relieved that we are inching closer to getting these gorgeous books into your hands. The lovely rep I am dealing with in China sent me some video of the books rolling off the press but sadly its too long to insert here. I do have some much better photos that they send me though.
I'm so pleased with how the book looks. I don't have an ETA for when they will reach the US yet and let's all keep our fingers crossed they don't encounter a kraken along the way. I am cautiously optimistic that my next update will be news that they are sitting in the warehouse ready for final dispatch. Once again, I thank you all for your patience 😊
An update of two halves..

I have a mixed update this month. Some good. Some...not so good - which is probably a metaphor for life at the moment!
I have had news from China and while yes, the books had printed, they found a number of quality issues with them. Which means they are being reprinted. While that means a delay of a few more weeks, I am glad they caught the issue before the books were shipped and its being corrected. Keeping fingers and toes crossed they should be shipped from China at the end of the month.
For the good news...the art prints have arrived. I had the lovely water colour illustrations made as vellum inserts, so you can place them wherever you want in the book, or pin them up :)
We now have everything waiting at the warehouse (all the paperbacks, art prints, stickers). We only need the hardcovers and the team at APlus can start packaging up and shipping out your pledges.
Thank you for your continued patience and hopefully in my June update I will have an estimated date that the hardcovers will arrive in the US.

Kia Ora everyone and thank you for your patience as I sort through a tangle of spreadsheets. With multiple ebooks and audio books to send to the right person, it has taken me a bit to figure everything out. I felt like I was doing advanced mathematics and there has been a bit of head scratching. But I got there!
Today I have embarked on deliverying all digital rewards. First up, here is the download link for the bonus scene from Oliver's POV.

The only problem was those few of you who backed from an APPLE ID and who have not completed the survey. If I do not have an email address, I cannot send you your digital rewards. Update and the behind the scenes work starts

The work has started behind the scenes to bring this beautiful book to life. I have the ebook formatting in hand and am making the bundles for those who ordered the sets of 3 ebooks. There is even a very early start to the bonus scene, which I'm hoping will have echos of Wentworth's famous (and heartbreaking!) I am half-hope, half-agony letter.
With the war affecting oil prices, and therefore the cost of shipping, I went ahead and ordered and paid for the hardcovers this week. Ouch is all I will say on that matter! There will be an update when the books ship, but the printer in China advises it will be about 3 months before they land in the US.
I will be sending out surveys either today or tomorrow. A teeny batch has already gone out just to check everything is working as it should, and the remainder will follow. The survey is very important if you backed using an Apple ID, as I need an email address for digital rewards.
